Meet Your Coaches

Rei and Linda first met during pivotal moments in our careers, united in our vision of coaching as a way to empower people to be their authentic selves. When we reconnected during the pandemic, we recognized the need to create a safe space for Asian women to reclaim our sense of wholeness and belonging and recover the quintessence of who we are.

Hi, I’m Rei (pronounced “Ray”). I’m originally from Tokyo, Japan, but have made the US my home for over half my life. I first moved to Massachusetts on my own at the age of 15 as an exchange student in a high school of the arts and found my place here. NYC has been my home for the majority of my adult life.

I worked in NYC global advertising agencies for 17 years as a creative executive before taking a leap of faith to pivot my career completely. That was a decision I’m profoundly grateful for to this day – I’ve found my realignment as a professional coach with my own company.

As the Founder of Realign Project and a Self Leadership Coach, my passion lies in empowering purpose-driven professionals, particularly from non-dominant groups like BIPOC, AAPI, and immigrants. With over 1,500 clients internationally across industries, I help folks live and work from a resonant place of authenticity and alignment with their core values and vision.

Hi, I’m Linda. A first-generation Chinese American, I embrace New York City as my home, my adventure, and my inspiration. My love of reading led me to jobs in publishing and a career in K-12 educational technology. I’ve held various roles in marketing, editorial, and product management and successfully launched products for K-12 education and consumer audiences.

To navigate the challenges of professional life, I rely on creative writing and coaching to restore my inner spark and build my self-narrative of success. Becoming certified in applied positive psychology helped me develop confidence, resilience, and adaptivity in diverse environments.

As a product management leader and a Certified Professional Diversity Coach, I am passionate about helping emerging leaders thrive and flourish as their most creative, powerful selves by transforming their lived experiences into a solid foundation for authentic, inclusive leadership.
